  Burning Man 2009: My third consecutive last year. So there went Burning Man 2009: No real highs. No real lows. No men left on base. I had time to think. I had time for conversation. I didn’t have time to read. It seems to be time to move my life in another direction. It might be away from Burning Man. It might not.

  The only way to injure a god is with his own blood. “Ain’t nobody worried”: Another of life’s little lessons: Don’t try to kill a fruit fly while drinking coffee. Luckily my lap caught the spill rather than the usual keyboard or the papers on my desk. My home clean up continues. Thursday I brought 30 pants and 26 shirts. The pants were too small. The shirts all still fit (except for the Jermyn Street dress shirts). Friday a new attendant accepted miscellaneous clothes, blankets, sheets, etc. I have three boxes containing about 250 books,
